Shintenchi Rolling Kitchen Island Cart Review: Is This Cart Worth the Hype?
I’ve always dreamt of having a kitchen that’s both functional and stylish, but my tiny apartment kitchen has always felt cramped and chaotic. I desperately needed a way to create extra counter space and storage, but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a complete renovation.
Kitchen carts are a popular solution for anyone looking to add extra counter space and storage in their kitchen. They’re also a great option if you have a small kitchen or are looking to make your kitchen more functional for entertaining guests. Before you purchase a kitchen cart, there are a few things you’ll need to think about.
First, you’ll need to decide how much space you have. You’ll also need to consider what you plan to use the cart for. If you’re looking for extra counter space, you’ll want to choose a cart with a large work surface. If you’re looking for more storage, you’ll want to choose a cart with shelves, drawers, or a combination of both.
Another important factor is the material of the cart. You can find kitchen carts made from wood, metal, or a combination of materials. Wood carts are often more traditional, while metal carts are more modern. They each have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Assembly
The Shintenchi Rolling Kitchen Island Cart requires assembly, which some users have found to be a bit tricky. While some users have found the assembly process to be straightforward, others have found it more challenging due to the barrel bolts, which can be tricky to fit in place. However, the instructions are clear and concise.
Customer Reviews of the Shintenchi Rolling Kitchen Island Cart
I read through a lot of reviews of the Shintenchi Rolling Kitchen Island Cart and found that many other users shared similar experiences. They liked the cart’s versatility, storage space, and ease of movement. However, a few users mentioned that the assembly process was a bit challenging, especially for those who live alone.
“I love this little cart! It was easy to put together and it came with understandable instructions. It does take about an hour to assemble, but definitely worth the effort in the end. It has lots of storage space and it fits perfectly for the use I had planned,” shared one user.
Another user commented, “This table/work station provides ample space for an air fryer and a rice cooker, but assembling it, especially on my own, was irritating hard work. The main problem was the so-called barrel bolts which essentially require that the user mesh a bolt that moves freely and a screw without being able to see the bolt or the end of the screw that is supposed to fit into the bolt. In the two instances when I succeeded, each required 15 nasty minutes. At that point I realized that a quarter inch dowel with thick glue would do the job, so I found bamboo dowels (very strong) and used a sticky wood glue that helps to hold the dowels in place. The remaining joints were fitted in a few minutes not counting drying time. The other assembly problem was the top which attaches with five or six screws. Doing this without assistance is very difficult because all the screws must fit in the holes in the top and the top is quite large and heavy and it is difficult to see all the screws at once. I managed it while mashing my index finger, but it would have been much easier and less painful with someone to help. Barrel bolts should be banned by the Geneva Convention. Once assembled this thing looks just the way it does . It is quite attractive and functional. Also, the instructions were clear. ”
